Labor Day weekend has come and gone.  Kids have rushed off to school and although Pumpkin Spice products have already shown up on menus, summer is still here. At least for a few more weeks. Hold on to this magic time of warm nights and bare feet.  Relish the warm air on sun kissed shoulders and windswept salty ocean hair.  A mermaid was the first thing I ever wanted to be when I grew up.  The ocean’s waters  have always crashed into my heart.  Flooding me with freedom, with flow, with resistance.  My second lungs.  In and out. Breath of ancient origins.  My final days of summer will be spent in the ocean’s embrace.  Wash over me, polish my rough edges, teach me the dangers of shallow living.

peace, love, and mermaid hair,

lauren
